Rocacorba
Rocacorba is a mountain in Canet d’Adri, and it’s the name by which the Puigsou (992m) is known.
Above you will find a magnificent viewpoint over the lake of Banyoles and the region. You can contemplate the splendid panoramic views of Cap de Creus, Canigó, Collsacabra, Montseny, Gavarres and the Medes Islands.
Rocacorba is a classic climb and very popular by local cyclists and around the world.
A few meters below the summit of Rocacorba lies a small 13th-century sanctuary that is set on the ruins of an old medieval castle. The shrine was built for the devotion of the Rocacorba Virgin or Pear Virgin.
