La Garrotxa

It is the best exponent of volcanic scenery of the Iberian peninsula. It has a quarantine of volcanic cones and more than twenty gatecrashers of basaltic lava. The orography, the soil and the climate provide a varied vegetation, often exuberantly, with oak woods and beech grooves of exceptional landscape value.
